Misty’s surgical wound has healed
Misty was lying on her back this morning so I was able to take these photos. The wound has healed. But a few more days would be better. She’s more relaxed now. There are no more cardboard boxes for her to tear.

Jayden, Gerald and all
It rained suddenly this evening, so I let Gerald into the house. I’ve caught Gerald trying to spray urine. If only he did not. If you want to come in, you mustn’t spray urine, Gerald. Gerald knows how to use the litter box, but he just wants to spray to mark territory. Confident male cats…

The equilibrium and friendship in the porch
With Misty confined upstairs, the equilibrium has returned to our porch. Creamy is here again. Creamy did not dare to come because he was frightened of Misty the Gangster. This also means that Creamy has another food source, probably at one of the RYABKs. Still I would like the equilibrium to return to the porch.…

Reflections – Who is the cili padi?
Who is the very strict cili padi who scolds people? A few weeks ago, a friend told me how the Chinese-speaking animal community perceives me. Apparently, I’m known as a “very strict cili padi who scolds people”. Hmm…I take “very strict” as a compliment, actually. Of course I have to be very strict. I’m handling…

The Princesses this morning and my plans for them (help needed)
Indra is usually more interested in playing than eating but this morning, she was hungry! But I still see this. I think it’s still Indra. She isn’t toilet-trained yet. There are now 4 litter boxes in the room for them. Give it a few more days and Samantha’s face will be as good as before.…

Riley FINALLY learns to eat outside her room
This morning, the miracle happened… I saw her eating, not much, but at least she is willing to lick some food that isn’t located inside her room. But each time I open Misty’s room, Riley still tries to rush in. I cannot allow that as Misty might be more scared. Riley is totally socialised and…

Misty is fine and is up for adoption
This greeted me this morning in Misty’s room. Ok, no more cardboard boxes for you, Ms Misty. She is fine, eating and eliminating well. I remember a long time ago, our senior vet said 4 days is sufficient for confinement after spaying if all goes well. Today is only Day 3 (if we count the…

The Princesses
I definitely recall that when Minnie’s boys were about this age (5 weeks plus), they were already eating by themselves and zooming in every day to the kitchen to sapu habis their meals. We called it the “Formula One”, how they zoomed in, four in a row, so fast that I could not even take…

Hiro’s day
Little Hiro had many hours in the living room this afternoon. He played by himself and played with me. I felt sorry for him as he doesn’t have any kitten friends. I cannot put him with the princesses because of his flu. He hasn’t fully recovered yet. He had a treat of Cubgrub’s Rabbit today.…

Indy eats…on his own!!
Ever since Indy started recovering from this loose stools, I made the judgment call to convert Indy back to a 100% raw diet and it has been good for him. He does not vomit in the morning (this is rare but it has really stopped) and he looks good. But… But he won’t eat on…

Little Hiro
Hiro gets timeout from his kitchen nursery a few times a day. I let him explore around the house and he loves it. He’s a very friendly and affectionate kitten and he’s completely adorable. The vet said I could do two nebulizations in a day, but only once with Ventolin. The second one can be…

Riley’s new failed feeding spot
Because Misty is now occupying Riley’s room, I had to move Riley’s feeding spot out of the room. Riley is such a clever cat in so many ways except this. She will only eat in her room. I might have to either force feed her or move Misty out. But where to?

Misty’s war zone
Look what Misty did. This is what greeted me this morning when I went in to feed Misty. By the way, last night, she had already sapu habis her food, so that’s good. I added more food and it was almost finished this morning too. But she also did other things to show her displeasure…
