• Ginger’s very short escape

Jia-Wen and family came over this morning to drop Jayden off with us, and Ginger somehow made a quick escape through the front door without anyone knowing until they started leaving. When they started leaving, they noticed that Ginger was in the porch. Oh-oh… So I quickly got the kibble jar out and tried to…

  • The day Ryan ate cat kibble!

This happened a few weeks ago! Ryan was fascinated by the cats’ snack and decided they won’t mind sharing a bit with him! So he took one pellet to try! No, he did not eat it. Sihui managed to ask him to spit it out. But this day will go down in history as “The…

Ryan’s efforts at making friends with the Queen. By the way, Ryan’s eye-patch is part of the treatment for his strabismus. It’s not a fashion statement! Two hours per day, alternate eye. Jayden was actually patting Cow Mau, missed the video of him doing it!

  • Ryan doesn’t give up!

Ryan comes over every day in the evening and he has been trying to make friends with all the cats. He knows he’s already friends with Bunny and Indy. Cow was a bit aloof at the beginning, but Ryan started giving presents to Cow, so I think Cow’s already a friend now. The hardest would…

  • The daily flavoured water sessions

It started with only being for Bunny only because Bunny needed more water intake to help with his constipation problem, but now Cow Mau and Indy participates in these daily sessions too. After all, who doesn’t like Cindy’s baby food? Still, Bunny gets more because he is the one who needs the extra fluids.

  • Cow’s update, after his 3rd dental

Cow is as tough as nails! He showed no pain after his dental two days ago. He did not even paw his mouth so there’s no need to wear the e-collar anymore. Cow is only on the transdermal Tramadol, probably until tomorrow. Before the surgery, I was really so undecided whether to let him go…

  • What are the cats eating these days?

Our cats were successfully converted to a 100% raw diet in September 2019. Before that, they were on a “rojak” diet of raw food, canned and kibble. So when I started the conversion in August 2019, raw food wasn’t exactly new to them as they had been on it for years, just not at a…
