I’m going to discuss two issues in this post. CNRM vs Shelters and the importance of getting our animals neutered.  CNRM vs Shelters – which one helps the animals more? There is no right or wrong answer as each one has its advantages and disadvantages. CNRM where the R = Return to Colony (and not…

  • Aku Harimau Malaya (Gerald’s portrait)

Gerald Bergaya betul, ya?  Gerald accompanies me on my morning walks and sits patiently and waits while I do taiji. He’s the perfect bodyguard and he isn’t even paid to do the job! Where can we find such loyalty?

Ref: https://animalcare.my/2023/04/01/winwins-story-a-sharing-from-survivor-shelter/ If you remember, exactly one week ago, the vet only gave WinWin two more days to live. • My Meatless Monday (Okinawan) meal

I haven’t shared my meatless meals for a very long time now, so here’s today’s! To our friends who are fasting, you can prepare this for sahur or iftar.  This is black rice. I read that in ancient China, it was reserved for the Emperor and the royalty only. Hence, it was also known as…

Riley is an incredibly smart kitten. After Samantha reunited with her kittens yesterday, Riley knew she didn’t have to babysit them anymore, so she asked to come out of the rooms. And took a very well-deserved rest! This is after a 6-day job of babysitting the kittens and keeping Samantha company. She’s just so, so…

Sam was already so restless the whole of yesterday. This morning, she couldn’t take it anymore. Aww… Indra and Kai came to me…haha.…
