True to their tortitude, persistence and strong will power, Creamy is totally freaked out by this new tortie. It’s the torties’ conquest! Nope, I have to put a stop to this. The porch belongs to Gerald, Creamy and Samantha. You can come and eat, but you go home after eating. Siapa datang dulu, dia dapat…

There has been three torties trying to come to our porch so far. Samantha chased away a bigger one who was also pregnant about a month ago. Then, came Misty who terrorised Gerald and Creamy. And now, there’s a smaller one who walked on the ledge and is now in our garden. Our Monsters were…

This morning, I was up at 3am. I know, it’s crazy. But a bad sore throat and a toothache woke me up. Anyway, I fed the kittens. They were so active at 3am. Cats are nocturnal and active at night. And they sleep in the day time. Kai and Akira licked a bit of Primal…

3 weeks old! This is little Indra. Samantha still doesn’t seem to care for him at all. But not to worry, his weight gain is pretty good. 1-Mar 5.30am 431 391 413 1-Mar 7pm 456 407 414 2-Mar 6.30am 460 413 428 2-Mar 5pm 475 417 447 3-Mar 6.30am 481 430 442 One more week…

I’ve heard of the possessive and strong-willed temperament of the Tortoiseshell cat but have never had the opportunity to actually encounter one… …until now. Here’s Misty, the tortie with tortitude! On the first day, she came and ate at the gate. On the second day, she was already inside the porch and wrestling away Gerald’s…

Riley is very, very obliging. What a good girl!

All three of them, including Mommy’s Favourite, Kai, have moved out to the playhouse. Samantha also does not bother to take them back. She’s on her own, probably waiting to get out of the room. She sure doesn’t seem to miss them. The empty nest works well for her! Or maybe, she just wants some…

This was last night’s photo – all day, only Kai got to suckle. 28-Feb 7am 427 373 392 28-Feb 7pm 437 385 399 1-Mar 5.30am 431 391 413 1-Mar 7pm 456 407 414 2-Mar 6.30am 460 413 428 Okay, acceptable weight gain. It looks like I would have to continue handfeeding Akira and Indra until…

Not one to lose out, Akira has crossed the 400g mark too! 27-Feb 6pm 404 374 394 28-Feb 7am 427 373 392 28-Feb 7pm 437 385 399 1-Mar 5.30am 431 391 413 1-Mar 7pm 456 407 414 Not only has she crossed the 400g mark, she has decided to move out to the playhouse and…

Here are some photos: Besides Indra’s white legs, it’s quite easy to tell Kai and Indra apart now. See the distinct difference in their shades of ginger? Kai is much lighter.

A milestone for little Indra! 26-Feb 5.30pm 389 364 367 27-Feb 6am 402 361 390 27-Feb 6pm 404 374 394 28-Feb 7am 427 373 392 28-Feb 7pm 437 385 399 1-Mar 5.30am 431 391 413 Akira likes to move into the playhouse by herself. That’s a calico for you! They have their own mind. The…

It is Cow Mau, occupying the new cat basket, bought for Riley, but she wasn’t interested (she prefers the big bed, sleeping next to me). Then, Tabs wasn’t interested either, so I put it in Bunny’s Room. Cleo was interested initially, but Cow Mau has got it now. Can you share it with Cow, Cleo?…
